Welcome to our website !
Few weeks ago, I found on the internet the recipe for these delicious chocolate chip cookies. A little bit crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Just as I like them. And clearly, it's not just me, since they have a huge success each time we bake them. If you want to try them as well, you can find the recipe here. Last time, I added some hazelnut crunch inside, and it was also a nice alternative to the original recipe. Enjoy if you try them!

Discover the first pictures of the new collection of H&M Home for Spring 2017. Scandinavian influences of course, warm soft colours, geometrical shapes, natural materials, H&M Home created a collection inspired by the five elements (air, spirit, fire, earth and water).

Evelina Kravaev Sodeberg, head of design at H&M Home explains the collection: "Exotism and harmony are the two main trends of this season. The key influence is tropical, a trend rich of colours and expressions. And we see again a strong trend around well-being and a philosophical touch influenced by both Japanese and Scandinavian styles".

Hope you'll like it as much as I do!

And one more Christmas wishlist. This one is for my Merry Little Home!

We want a new sofa, and I especially like this one with compas feet and vintage scandinavian style. The ant chair from Arne Jacobsen in chestnut has been on my wishlist for a long time, and I've been searching for some wall shelves in the style of the string pocket, but with a smaller budget, I think I found the perfect alternative with these ones.

The rest would look perfect in our apartment as well !

You'll find the links to each product under the picture...

What about you? What did you ask Santa this year? Anything for your home?

Missing ideas for your little ones for Christmas? Here is my selection... black & white, wood, natural colours and materials and a hinch of pale blue for a relaxing kidsroom, where they can play and develop their creativity!

Back on the blog after such a long break... but I clearly couldn't miss December! For sure my favorite time of the year to decorate at home.

Today is a bit of inspiration of white christmas decorations. I think white really makes it pure and enchanted, all we need for the season!

We've been seeing this everywhere lately, and I definitely LOVE this trend... Botanical home, Urban jungle, whatever you call it, green green and more green, botanical prints on the walls, cactus and succulents everywhere, leaves printings on cushions, bed linen, or on the wall... Too much is never enough!

Where to find the photos / Où trouver les photos :

We started this project a while ago now, and seriously, it took us so long, but finally, we made it, and Leni can sleep in her whole new house-bed. Calculating the angles and finding the best way to fix it strongly together was the hardest. We wanted to make sure she could behave like a kid, jump and play on her bed, without being afraid it would collapse. So what we did is that we bought the most basic second hand wooden bed and we used it as a basis. We brushed it to remove the varnish and to clear the wood. We replaced the legs and created the house structure, but since we are not professionals, we kept it safe!
And she really likes her new bed. Several "youpi" rewarded us after which she directly quality checked the structure, by using the bed as a trampoline! It's holding good :-)
She's regularly asking me to cover the roof so she can hide inside to play, which gives me already ideas for a future project!
Now, it's gonna be time to find some more decoration to hang on it and place around!

I tried different positions in the room, what do you think is the best? Along the wall or in the middle of the room?

And don't hesitate to tell me what you think of her house-bed!
